Nebraska tight end Arik Gilbert has been arrested for burglary for the second time in under three weeks.

He allegedly stole vape products worth approximately $1,600 from an SJ’s Liquor and Vape Shop on Aug. 29. Gilbert has yet to take a snap with the Cornhuskers as he awaits an NCAA ruling, and there’s no telling when — or it —that will come.Getty Images Gilbert originally attended LSU in 2020, where as a freshman, he caught 35 passes for 368 receiving yards and two touchdowns in just eight games.Last season, he caught two passes for 16 yards and one touchdown.
The now 22-year-old was the Gatorade Football Player of the Year in 2020 when he was coming out of high school.
