Adrian Foo left the Nine Entertainment-owned streaming service last year amid an investigation into allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct.

Already a subscriber?Former Stan publicity chief Adrian Foo was given a payout of more than $150,000 before walking into a new job at QMS Media days later, despite an ongoing investigation into claims of inappropriate workplace conduct.

At least five current and former Stan staff alleged they were the victim of, or witnessed, Mr Foo’s bullying. Two said Mr Foo would make them feel uncomfortable by hugging them, touching their knees or holding their shoulders. At least two signed non-disclosure agreements before leaving. The investigation into Mr Foo’s workplace conduct began in April last year, and interviews were conducted by Stan’s human resources team and its general counsel, Emren Kara, over two days.

“The CEO played no part in – and had no visibility into – the process that led to Adrian Foo’s departure from Stan given their longstanding friendship,” a Nine spokeswoman said in a statement on Monday. “The CEO and his family have been very close to Adrian for more than a decade.”
