Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is being urged to intervene and restore law and order in Alice Springs following a wave of horrific crimes.
Upwards of 200 children, some as young as five, roam the streets late at night with many under the influence of alcohol.

Offer ends 31 October, 2023 On Monday Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia the level of anxiety in the town was high, with residents afraid of visiting shopping centres or going to sleep each night. “The Prime Minister needs to show the leadership here and we’ll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him and make sure we back in the calls of the government,” he told Sky News Australia.
