Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says civilian Arbel Yehud, soldier Agam Berger and another hostage will be released by Hamas.

He also said in a post on X on Sunday local time that Israel will allow displaced Palestinians to return to northern Gaza starting on Monday morning.

"After conducting firm and determined negotiations led by Prime Minister Netanyahu, Hamas has backed down and will carry out another round of hostage releases this Thursday," the office of the Israeli prime minister said in the post."At the same time, Israel received a list from Hamas containing the status of all the hostages who are to be released in phase one. As part of these agreements, Israel will allow Gazans to cross into the northern Gaza Strip starting tomorrow morning.

Hamas also said it had handed over to the mediators the required information regarding the list of Israeli hostages who will be released during the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
