Netball: Swifts shooter Sam Wallace-Joseph has parted ways with the Sydney club over behaviourial issues.

Swifts part ways with star goal shooter | 00:32Bec Bulley has coached her last game for the struggling Queensland Firebirds, remarkably less than two seasons into her four-year deal .

The Firebirds currently sit last on the 2024 Super Netball table, after finishing only percentage off the wooden spoon last season. The club confirmed any “longer-term decisions” on a head coach would be “determined at a future date”. Bulley, a former Australian Diamond, took on the role of head coach after serving as Briony Akle’s assistant in a Swifts premiership year, taking rising talent like Emily Moore and Ali Miller with her from the NSW pathway.
