Popular Netflix drama series The Crown has been criticised by two former British prime ministers – arguing “fiction should not be paraded as fact”.
One of the actors from the show has spoken out in defence of the series – claiming it has shown nothing but love to the Royal Family.
Royal Historian and Advisor to Netflix Robert Lacey said, “we’ve tried to be sensitive to events based on what evidence there is”.
