Streaming giant Netflix is ramping up the cost of its services to help the company fund the production of its own content.
Subscription prices will be raised in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and some parts of Europe.
The rising cost is expected to impact subscriber growth, which is predicted to fall by eight per cent to five million users.
