The scheme has been expanded and now includes around 300 medications. Here are the new additions.

Australians have saved over half a billion dollars on the cost of medication over the year since a 60-day prescription scheme was introduced, Health Minister Mark Butler says. The government said cuts to patient co-payments and reductions in the price of medicines, along with the prescription reforms, contributed to the savings.

The guild later shelved their campaign after the government brought forward negotiations on a new pharmacy agreement. New medications are now available on the 60-day scheme , with around 300 medicines in total now listed. The latest group was introduced on 1 September and includes treatments for acne, anxiety, asthma, constipation, depression, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, glaucoma, dry eyes, obstructive pulmonary disease, and Parkinsons disease.
