An image from the upcoming Ahsoka series has proven that Lucasfilm has fixed the main complaint about the character’s live-action appearance.
An image from the upcoming Ahsoka series proves that Lucasfilm has finally fixed the biggest issue about the character's appearance since The Mandalorian season 2. The second season of the Pedro Pascal-led show was responsible for kickstarting the transition of Star Wars characters from animation to live-action.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The aspect in question is Ahsoka's montrals, which seem to have been perfected as evidenced by this image from Empire Magazine. In The Mandalorian season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka's montrals were much shorter than when they were last seen in Star Wars animation.
How Lucasfilm Translated Ahsoka's Montrals From Animation To Live-Action As mentioned, the montrals were much shorted for Ahsoka at first. The reasoning for this stemmed from stunt work, with the shorter montrals enabling Rosario Dawson and her team of stunt-doubles to easier perform any stunts required for Ahsoka. However, this called for many Star Wars fans to point out the lack of fidelity the design had to Ahsoka's original animated model.
