The new Bishop of Lincoln will meet people from across the county
The Right Reverend Stephen Conway has been named as the new Bishop of Lincoln by 10 Downing Street.
Following interviews with the Crown Nominations Committee, Bishop Stephen has accepted the King's invitation for the post.Bishop Stephen said he looked forward to continuing his ministry in Lincolnshire. “There are many opportunities ahead of us all and I look forward to working and praying with you as we come together and build strong, resilient faithful communities which flourish in the love of Christ Jesus.”
The Right Reverend Dr David Court, Bishop of Grimsby and The Right Reverend Dr Nicholas Chamberlain, Bishop of Grantham said, “The fourteen months that we have already worked with Bishop Stephen are a wonderful platform on which to build when he comes to join the diocese as the seventy-third Bishop of Lincoln.
