Nottingham shoppers expect the new venue will be popular

On a busy Nottingham street, shoppers and local residents have shared their thoughts on plans for a new café-bar restaurant coming to the area. With some surrounding businesses also open until late too, the new restaurant will shut after midnight.

Shoppers walking through busy Clumber Street welcome the plans. Holly Mason, 23 works in a city centre café and lives in Mapperley, said: “If it was an ordinary café selling the basics then I don’t think it would do well but because it sounds like it will have a lot going on, I think it will do well. It’s different from the other competitors around.”Holly added: “Clumber Street is very busy, once people realise there’s something new, they’ll most likely pop in if they can.

Abi Hart, 21 lives in Carlton. The student said: “There’s a lot of students in Nottingham who always like somewhere cheap and cheerful for a coffee and going out at night too so with this place it’s killing two birds with one stone.”
