Contact tracing is under way in WA after two new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the community on Friday.
Two truck drivers who arrived from NSW tested positive. The duo travelled from NSW via Victoria and South Australia.WA Premier Mark McGowan, who had just exited National Cabinet, said the pair were part of a COVID surveillance testing program for those who cross state borders. Two tests they took on Wednesday returned positive results on Friday and WA Health authorities have revealed there are four close contacts of the drivers, with urgent contact tracing now under way.
