Another club has “joined the chase” for a Sydney free agent, who has “interest everywhere” as he remains without a Swans deal past this season.
According to Herald Sun journalist Jon Ralph, the North Adelaide product has “parked” contract talks with Sydney as a new club enters the race for his services.“Port Adelaide has now joined the chase, Adelaide is keen — of course, he is a South Australian. “ is a free agent, but even now, Adelaide is saying ‘our first rounder and our future first-rounder, they are on the table — roll up, roll up, give us a deal’.”
Ralph reports the Eagles have “delayed” submitting an offer to Yeo’s camp — and it could cost them dearly, considering the “massive” rival market for the midfielder. “He’s the most in-form player in the competition. So, all of a sudden, going back to when that offer lands — two years, less money, that sounds lame.
