New information has emerged in the 2021 slaying of woman found shot to death in the front yard of a Birmingham home.
Police at the time said investigators believe the woman may have been shot in a nearby alley before running away and collapsing in the yard.On Friday, Birmingham police released a photo of a dark SUV. Peoples, they said, was seen getting out of that vehicle and collapsed moments later.

The discovery was made shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in the 1600 block of Eighth Avenue West.
