Tasmania records 44 new COVID-19 cases, a new daily high — but no cases are currently being treated in intensive care.
It brings the total number of active cases in the state to 160, with 100 cases recorded in the past three days.
Eighty six of the cases are receiving medical treatment at home, 33 are in medi-hotels and one is in hospital receiving treatment for an unrelated medical condition.There are no people being treated in ICU. In a statement, the Department of Health said 97.52 per cent of people over the age of 16 had received their first doses of vaccination, with 92.61 per cent at second dose.WatchWhat you need to know about coronavirus:
