New details have emerged after multiple people were stabbed following a car crash in Sydney’s south on Sunday.

A 58-year-old man, who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds, was found by officers allegedly running from the scene.He was later pursued on foot, tasered and taken into custody. He remains in Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.Superintendent Donald Faulds confirmed the two were in a domestic relationship.
Mr Faulds revealed members of the public had rushed over to the accident to help and were confronted by the 58-year-old man, who was known to police for “a number of matters,” allegedly wielding a box-cutter. “As community members were assisting one of the females out of one vehicle, a male got out of that vehicle. He was armed with what we believe to be a box cutter.”
