An 'update' to the St George's Cross by Nike on England's new kit for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament has caused controversy
Nike's new England home kit has become a major talking point with a 'playful' version of the St George's Cross on the back of the strip causing a stir. Gareth Southgate's side will likely debut the new shirt in a friendly against Brazil at Wembley on Saturday night.

I would argue that the real problem with the new shirt is not on the collar, but on the price tag inside it. So what if the team has a slightly different variation of the flag on the back of their neck? They're still representing England, the St George’s Cross will still be flown at the venues that they’re playing at and they will still have the Three Lions on their shirt.
