New evidence could lead to new charges being filed in a child abandonment case involving missing 5-year-old Oakley Carlson’s parents, Andrew Carlson and Jordan Bowers.
Last month, the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office said that neither Carlson nor Bowers gave Oakley’s older 6-year-old sister her medicine for nearly 15 months, the result of which could have killed her.
However, no charges have been filed concerning Oakley’s disappearance, because neither she nor any remains have been found.New charges could be introduced as soon as Monday against Carlson and Bowers in the child abandonment case but investigators have not elaborated on what the new evidence is.
