The federal government is expanding three homeowner schemes due to end in June, with double the number of places to be offered to help buyers break in to the housing market.
"The [government] stimulation most certainly increases the requirements in home building and all trades," he said.The housing construction boom, along with a drop in timber imports, is driving a major shortage of structural timber.
