After receiving fresh information about the death of an Aboriginal teenager found dead on train tracks outside a NSW town in 1995, police are again appealing for assistance from the public.

A Coronial inquest found he died as a result of multiple injuries sustained when he was hit by a train. Oxley Police detectives working under Strike Force Resolve said new information suggests Mr Smith may have been the victim of an unrelated incident hours before his body was found on the train tracks.It is yet to be found if the incident was intentional or accidental, and detectives said they still believe there are members of the community with information.
