Authorities say flights from Melbourne will not be allowed to land in New South Wales until health officials are in place following a major breach of protocol on Tuesday.
Passengers were allowed to disembark a Jetstar flight from Melbourne and leave the gate area before NSW Health had a chance to screen them.
Just 89 of 137 passengers were checked before they left Sydney Airport. The remaining 48 passengers were contacted to arrange testing. NSW Police was called in after three passengers refused screening. Image: News Corp Australia
