Rapid testing introduced in South Australian hospitals will return coronavirus test results in less than an hour.
South Australians will receive their coronavirus test results in less than an hour under a new rapid testing program to be rolled out in the coming weeks.About 2,000 tests were undertaken on day one of South Australia's"testing blitz"Fast-tracked results will be available at all metro and 10 regional hospitals for patients deemed"clinically urgent", the State Government announced on Friday.
He said the tests were already available in metro hospitals to detect influenza, but had been developed for COVID-19 in the last two months.
