The stock of new inner-city housing looks set to grow, with a property group submitting plans for almost 150 new homes in Milton.
The influx of new inner-city housing stock shows no sign of abating, with plans for almost 150 new homes in Milton submitted to Brisbane City Council.
The 78-metre building, at 12-18 Crombie Street, would be built on the site of an existing marine and motor engineering business.Because the plans went beyond that height limit, they were considered “impact assessable” and open to public submissions both for and against the proposal. “The site is located within a ‘dip’ in the topography across the Milton area, and the proposed building will therefore sit at a lower level than surrounding buildings with a similar number of storeys,” Urbis said.
