Travellers are being warned
The new rule bans people from smoking on 28 beaches in the Balaeric Islands. The Mirror has reported that the new spoking ban will be implemented on some beaches in Menorca, Majorca and Ibiza.

Spain bans smoking in all indoor public places - and health campaigners are hoping to extend this to several outdoor ones.
The 28 beaches covered by the rules will now have four metre banners that declare their smoke-free status. In Majorca, those include: Sant Joan, Sa Platgeta, Santa Ponsa, Cala Estància, Cala Sant Vicenç and Caló des Moro.
