9News understands that Clarendon College in Ballarat has emailed parents today to say that there is a family member related to a Year 10 student and Year 12 student who has tested positive for COVID-19.Trinity Grammar in Kew is the latest Victorian school to close after a positive COVID-19 test.The school closed yesterday after a staff member received a positive test.
The Department of Health ordered the school to close immediately, with parents instructed to pick up their kids. Barwon Heads Primary School and Bacchus Marsh Grammar also closed temporarily, with some staff and students sent into isolation. It said Barwon Heads Primary School had been directed to close and public health teams were investigating potential exposure to the virus."Public health teams are working closely with the leadership and community at both schools," the department said, in a statement,
