Katelan Coates: New sighting in Lancashire of teenager missing for a week as concern grows
There has been a new sighting in Lancashire of a teenager who was reported missing from home one week ago.
Police said the 14-year-old has since been seen in Preston. Officers last night released a CCTV image of the schoolgirl walking along Fishergate on Saturday, May 27.The force and Katelan's family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and 'want to make sure she is OK'. Her mum Tina has issue several appeals on Facebook in recent days saying "none of her family can sleep or function until we know she's safe".
"If that means we move or change school to give you a fresh start we will. If you can at least let us know you're OK.In a Facebook post last night, West Yorkshire Police said: "Katelan Coates, 14, was reported missing from Todmorden last week and is still outstanding. The first 3 images are from the 26th May at Burnley bus station, the last image is from 27th May at Fishergate, Preston.Police said Katelan is described as white female, around 5ft 5ins tall with long brown hair.
