Telford College's proposed A-level centre is part of the town's Station Quarter development.
The A-level centre which is part of Telford College will provide a range of courses and open in September 2025.
The campus forms part of the town's new Station Quarter which will link the railway station with the centre. Telford and Wrekin Council said its location would make it "much more accessible" and "particularly help people in the south of the borough".Principal Graham Guest said the A-level centre would be next to its digital skills centre and delivered in partnership with the council and Harper Adams University.
He said the government funding would be used to significantly invest in the existing Haybridge campus and that there would be a bigger focus on curriculum areas such as engineering, automotive and construction.Worry in UK as Israel-Gaza anxiety spreads
