New South Wales residents are being warned to remain on alert for more flooding over the weekend.
Forecasters are concerned an East Coast low could develop – bringing more torrential rain to coastal areas.
There will be two ADF helicopters and 100 troops provided by the federal government tomorrow morning in case of another flood emergency. In Queensland, Federal Minister for Emergency Management Murray Watt has announced a $170 million flood resistance package in conjunction with the state government.
