Each space is different but combines key design features like the hexagonal wall plans and glowing lights.It wasn't easy to complete this mammoth project, after two builders in a row went bust and delayed the project. "We always say in the hotel industry, every day that you're delays is actually another opportunity to iron out the wrinkles and get it better on the day," Seaward said.Not only does it feature multiple bar spaces to enjoy the internal design of the hotel but the view over the bustling harbour, it has also paid tribute to its heritage of an IMAX cinema.
Now the old cinema is called The Ribbon which hosts the W Hotel, dockside retail and a new state of the art IMAC with a 693 square metre screen and 430 luxury seats.The hotel has held casting calls in the past week to audition to fill nearly 300 positions.But what would a hotel overlooking Darling Harbour be without a pool?
Well look no further, the W Hotel features a 30 metres long infinity edge pool for paddlers to peer out the grand windows at the spectacular view of the city.After nearly seven years of construction, the hotel is almost ready to welcome guests to enjoy its amenities and grand designs.
