Hannah Emily Byrne was discovered dead on the first day of her holiday to Corfu in Greece.
A British policewoman who fell to her death in Corfu may have had her drink spiked with methanol-laced booze, cops on the Greek island fear.
Now authorities on the island are investigating whether Hannah's drink had been contaminated. The chief medical officer who first examined Hannah said that he detected alcohol on her breath. He added that he expected toxicology tests to reveal "the exact nature" of substances included in the alcohol the police woman had imbibed."We expect the result in a few weeks and they are very important because with today's postmortem everything else has been ruled out. We now know her death was an accident."
Although there is not been any criminal involvement suspected to date it is unclear whether or not Hannah was alone at the time of her death.
