Tourism Australia's new campaign aimed at attracting tourists to the regions is ‘unashamedly’ targeting ‘high-value’ Chinese travellers, says the agency’s managing director John O’Sullivan. Chinese tourism is worth an estimated $11.

5 billion to the economy each year, and Tourism Australia is spending millions on the new advertising campaign. Mr O’Sullivan told Sky News the campaign aims to encourage visitors to get out of the gateway cities in order to help Australia’s regional communities.
