On the roads, numerous collisions have been reported on local roads and bridges, including an overturned box truck on I-280 near San Jose and a crash on 580 in the MacArthur Maze. Caution is encouraged, with the weather service suggesting that people"stay home if you don't need to go out," especially when the heavy rains come in.
