The New York Jets scored 14 points in the final 1:22, and safety Ashtyn Davis intercepted a pass from Cleveland Browns QB Jacoby Brissett with 6 seconds left to seal the comeback.
That run, though, only gave the Browns a momentary chance to breathe. The Jets answered with a 66-yard touchdown pass to a wide open Corey Davis with 1:22 remaining when cornerback Denzel Ward and safety Grant Delpit seemed to botch the coverage.
The officials initially ruled it a touchdown. However, after a replay review, it was ruled Peoples-Jones wasn't able to control the ball to the ground while getting his feet inbounds. The Jets were threatening with less than four minutes left in the first half and the Browns ahead 14-7. That's when Jadeveon Clowney made his presence known.
