A 19-year-old man, charged with terrorism-related offences, has been refused bail and will appear in Newcastle Local Court today.
The Joint Counter Terrorism Team Sydney is continuing to investigate an incident which ended in a Raymond Terrace man allegedly being found with "knives and tactical equipment" yesterday afternoon.
The man was arrested and charged with one count of other acts done in preparation for, or planning, for a terrorist act.
