They claim they are now unable to sell their property because police refuse to sign a letter saying they have been intimidated from their home
A Bangor couple have been forced from their home of 30 years following a campaign of alleged paramilitary intimidation.
In one incident a brick was allegedly thrown through their window on Christmas Day while the couple's grandchildren were in the room. "Alongside this we have had to deal with repeated false calls to the police accusing my family of being involved in a wide range of different things which has caused us further difficulties.
He also says that he is being further held up in selling his property back to the Housing Executive because police are refusing to sign a letter confirming that they have been the victims of an intimidation campaign. Police have said they are investigating a report of criminal damage in the Priory Close area of Bangor, on Friday, February 23.
