A Co Tyrone student is highlighting the cost of living crisis and its impact on young people’s health here in Northern Ireland as part of a new review.
The Youth Select Committee, supported by the House of Commons and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, is setting out the critical areas for exploration prior to seeking written and oral evidence from the public. Ryan says young people have declared health and wellbeing a key issue of concern and it’s evident the cost of living crisis is a key driver in this.
He added: “The cost of living crisis is affecting young people at all levels of society and we're hearing a lot about the negative impacts of this.
