Sunny intervals and showers are expected on Friday
Showers are expected in Northern Ireland over the weekend with a mainly dry day on Bank Holiday Monday.
Firstly, on Thursday afternoon, August 24, NI will see scattered showers breaking out in the afternoon, heaviest towards the North Coast and a maximum temperature of 18C. For tonight, the Met Office added: "Some late sunshine this evening a few showers, these mainly across the north. The rest of the night will see clear periods and a few showers. Minimum temperature 9C".For Friday, the forecaster said: "A day of sunny intervals and a few showers, but some spells of drier weather too. Maximum temperature 18C.""Rain extending east for a time on Sunday followed by a mainly dry day on Monday", the Met Office added.
