Nicola Roberts announced as fifth celeb taking part in Strictly Christmas special
Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has been announced to be taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2022 in the hopes of being crowned the Strictly Christmas Champion.
“It’s truly an honour to be part of Strictly, but to be invited on to the prestigious Christmas day episode is something very special indeed,” Nicola said to Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Friday, 2 December. For the ITV show, The Promise singer starred as Queen Bee in 2020 and blew viewers away with her fantastic vocals.
For her next venture, Nicola joins the likes of Gavin and Stacey actor Larry Lamb, former Corrie star Alexandra Mardell and Rickie Haywood-Williams in taking part in this year’s Strictly special.
