Prepare for a night(mare) of jump-scares and screams as Zoombezi Bay turns to ZOMBIEzi Bay beginning Sept. 16. Here's what you need to know if you go.
What are the hours?Friday and Saturday: 6 p.m. to midnightZoombezi Bay season pass holders and gold members can purchase tickets for $14.99 tickets on any ZOMBIEzi Bay operating day. That is the lowest ticket price available.
If you aren't a season pass holder or gold member, tickets will cost $28.99 for all operating days in September, and Thursdays and Sundays in October. Prices go up on Friday and Saturday in October, with an admission price of $32.99.Haunted houses, scare zones among attractions planned for 2022 Halloween event at Columbus Zoo
There will be four haunted houses this year: Catacombs, where you can visit the realm of the undead; Eternal Darkness, a nearly pitch-black experience that starts at dusk; Pleasant Screams, where you will come face-to-face with your worst nightmares; and the Sinister Sideshow, where 3-D glasses will give you an up-close view of evil clowns and other horror-ific acts.
Visitors also can get their adrenaline pumping in two scare zones, including a new attraction where zombies have descended upon the Ohio town of Dead River, as well as on six rides that include bumper cars and the classic Sea Dragon wooden roller coaster.
