After all, the Bulgarian-Canadian actress is constantly on the go, whether she’s traveling for a new project or crisscrossing around Los Angeles.
After a swift cleanse, Dobrev layers on a slew of serums with calming and hydrating benefits. “I’m obsessed with mini containers,” she notes, whipping out a travel-size eye cream and dabbing it under her eyes. “I also make a cocktail of my creams,” she explains, mixing a few different moisturizers in the palm of her hand. “This is my secret sauce,” she says while sealing everything in with. Retrieving eye patches from the fridge, she then applies the C-shaped gel masks to combat a.m. puffiness.
Onto makeup, she swipes on concealer, followed by a featherweight layer of foundation on her complexion and neck. “I cannot express how important it is to not just put foundation on your face,” she says. Next up, Dobrev applies dark eyeshadow along the lash lines and fills in her arches. “I’m really obsessed with doing a messy brow,” she says, brushing up her naturally full set.
“You have to lock ’em in,” continues Dobrev of her now-covered blemishes, which she finishes off with a dusting of translucent powder. Then “just to sort of highlight and contour,” she swipes on a fuchsia blush and shimmering bronzer. As for the perfect highlighter? It’s another concoction, of course—this time with a “potent” iridescent liquid that she blends on top of her cheekbones with a“I do move around a lot, so I keep much of this stuff in my car,” she admits of her daily routine.
