NJSIAA state wrestling finals schedule set after Friday’s state semis

Boys Wrestling: Kittatinny vs Paulsboro in NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Group 1 Semifinals on Feb. 10, 2023The road to Rutgers has been paved, and now it’s time for teams to hop on the turnpike or whatever road necessary Sunday to compete in the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics state wrestling championship matches.

Rutgers’ Jersey Mike’s Arena will be host of the state team finals for the first time. It will host seven state finals over two sessions. Below is the schedule with the seeds for Sunday’s seven matchups with five public-school champions and two non-public champions to be crowned. The non-public tournaments are statewide this year after previously crowning North and South champions with the winners competing in the state final.

No. 1 Delbarton and No. 2 St. Joseph will meet in the Non-Public A final. Other ranked teams competing are No. 5 Southern , No. 6 Delsea , No. 9 Delaware Valley , No. 10 Phillipsburg , No. 11 Warren Hills and No. 15 St. John Vianney .Group 2: 3-High Point vs. 4-Gov.
