The 23-year-old has moved on after a torrid time with medical problems at Rangers.
The midfielder arrived at Ibrox during the reign of Steven Gerrard alongside Jack Simpson, with both players signed from Bournemouth. But he hasn't made a competitive appearance in blue. There hasn't been much in the way of update around the 23-year-old but it's now been confirmed by the Premiership side he is seeking chances elsewhere. Earlier this year, Ofoborh sent a cryptic update on his status, saying: Two years, two operations, hundreds of appointments.
The Light Blues statement on his exit reads: "Rangers can today announce that the club and Nnamdi Ofoborh have mutually agreed to end his contract. The midfielder, who joined Rangers at the start of 2021-22 season has opted to pursue a career elsewhere. Everyone at Rangers wishes Nnamdi all the very best of luck for the future."
Boss Michael Beale defended the club after the former Cherries man's post. He said: "Listen, it's a really personal matter that one. Obviously, Nnamdi is a boy that we signed originally from Bournemouth and I was here in and around the scouting of signing Nnamdi. He was a player that we were quite excited about. He then went to Wycombe and had the problem after doing the medical with Rangers.
"The problem appeared after that and then since he's come to Rangers it has been difficult, he has never been able to train with the group, never been able to play with the group. He has been away to see the best cardiologist we could find, he's had two opinions, we are now supporting him to get a third opinion as well.
"That's where we are at. Nnamdi is a boy that I am close to and I really feel for his situation. He's a young man that has had his whole life turned upside down in the last two years and he's finding it really difficult with the feedback that he has been getting. But he's away to see a third specialist now and the club is supporting him on that. The club has been fantastic in their support for him the whole way through the two years.
