There are no more “illusions” about the nature of the Chinese regime under President Xi Jinping after Ambassador Xiao Qian’s National Press Club address, Sky News host James Morrow says.
“We know that there’s a re-education camp for 23 million Taiwanese coming in the future for them,” he said.
“But we also know that they are now an incredibly thin-skinned regime – they want Australia to do a whole bunch of things including have the media stop criticising China, let companies like Huawei come in and build our 5G network.
