Former prime minister Tony Abbott says there is “no persuasive evidence” the Voice to Parliament will improve outcomes for Indigenous Australians.
“The best thing to improve remote Australia, that all of us I think shy away from; the kids have got to go to school, the
adults have to go to work and the police have to keep communities safe,” he told a parliamentary inquiry into the Voice to Parliament.
