Sarah Beam, 41, was purportedly caught in the awkward situation at a Houston COVID-19 testing site on Jan. 3 after witnesses reported hearing noises coming from the back of her vehicle.

A health services director at the site later discovered the teenager in the trunk and called police. Beam was charged with endangering a child.in a statement that they may consider taking the case to a grand jury. “We respect the judge’s ruling and we will continue with our work,” Harris County District Attorney spokesperson Dan Schiller told the outlet.

Sarah Beam, 41, was charged with child endangerment after her son was found inside the trunk of her car at a COVID-19 testing site in Houston.Beam has worked as a teacher in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District since 2011.Share this article:
