Police say there have been no reports 'of large-scale disorder' after a video surfaced online of a police van being attacked by protestors in Nottingham city centre. Officers said they were aware of a video - posted online on Friday, October 13 - which appeared to show a van being attacked in Friar Lane.
It's unclear when the footage was taken but Nottinghamshire Police said there had been no reports of large-scale disorder on Friday. In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, a spokesperson for the force said: "We are aware of footage circulating on social media of a police van being attacked in Nottingham city centre by protesters."Please note this is historic footage and we have received no reports of large-scale disorder in Nottingham today."
