As rising toxicity from the earth’s atmosphere threatens humanity, a new technology has taken off, the Sustainatent – huge hermetically sealed tents that are permanently installed over houses to allow families to quarantine inside.In Collector, local family man Finn Winter has been appointed the local Sustainatent salesman, enthusiastically promoting his wares at the local town hall as “a triumph over the natural world” even as his product will create a society defined by its isolation.
