Billboard is now accepting nominations for the Chip Hooper Award honoring the legendary talent agent, father and photographer who played a key role building Paradigm's concert business, which today is one of the top agencies in music.passed away after a battle with cancer in 2016 and to honor his memory, the Chip Hooper Award was created in 2018 as part of a collaboration between Billboard, Paradigm and Hooper's daughter.
“Our dad was larger than life,” Valerie said last year when giving out the first ever Chip Hooper Award. "He devoted himself completely to his passions for music and culture, worked tirelessly for his clients and submersed himself in his own artwork.” with Live Nation, who had worked with Hooper after meeting him at an industry conference.
