Up until Christmas, families can look forward to Santa tracking updates from NORAD’s 67th annual ‘NORAD Tracks Santa’ program. FOX13
Fans of the NORAD Tracks Santa program will be able to get updates on Old Saint Nick’s whereabouts.
In October, NORAD Tracks Santa published an interview with the program’s manager, Lt. Sean Carter, to provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the Christmas tradition.planning going on every month Santa Claus waves to the crowd during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27, 2014 in New York City. The annual tradition marks the start of the holiday season.
"Last year our volunteers fielded over 53,000 calls," Carter said in NORAD’s news release. "At our pre-COVID peak in 2019, we had 1,480 volunteers take 150,000 calls. We’re hoping to build back up to those numbers in the near future."From midnight to 3 a.m. MST, the phone line plays an automated message that relays Santa’s whereabouts, Carter said.The NORAD Santa Tracker website supports eight languages and emails can be sent to [email protected].
