A Christmas crackdown on drug dealing in Northern Ireland continued after a significant amount of illegal substances and cash were recovered by the PSNI.
The operation in North Belfast took Class A and Class B drugs off the streets as well as £20,000 in cash. Class A drugs are considered to be among other substances heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and LSD.Read more: Pre-Christmas reports of domestic abuse up by 40% in NI, says PSNI
One man was arrested on Friday December 23 and is currently being questioned in connection with the haul. A statement from Police North Belfast on Twitter said: "Belfast District Support Team arrested a male for drug offences in Cliftonville today."
